Enhancing the quality of life one family at a time

Our mission is to help improve the quality of life of our clients by providing quality services. We provide counseling services to children ages 4 and older, adolescents, and adults.
Welcome to TriCare Counseling & Consulting
TriCare Counseling and Consulting started accepting clients in 2010 as a practice that partners with professionals to form a caring team dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adolescents, and adults who deal with mental health disorders.
We believe that healthy families make up healthy communities. Our consumers need to take care of themselves and their families.
We believe that no matter how challenging a situation becomes, there is always hope. We take a realistic look at each situation while identifying strengths and weaknesses and the necessary supports that will lead to a positive and healthy resolution.
We offer proper diagnosis and treatment planning in coordination with primary care physicians to enable our therapists to make the best match to the most beneficial treatment plan. The diagnosis and treatment plans will also aid in providing strategies to improve school or work performance and quality of life.
As part of ongoing treatment, our therapists offer individual therapy to help our consumers understand how their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors will affect themselves and others. We offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adults. Other specialized therapy we offer include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT); Cognitive processing therapy(CPT); and more.
We offer family therapy because it exerts change on the entire family. Improvements are lasting because each family member learns interventions for change and continues to exert change on other family members.
All comprehensive testing will include a clinical interview and the completion of various testing tools.
• Cognitive, emotional, and personality testing to answer complex questions about a child’s or adult’s functioning
• Abbreviated psychological evaluations or single tests such as the MMPI-2 or MMPI-A can be given depending on the case.
