I would like to take a moment to thank everyone for your patience while we properly review the latest metrics as well as the governor’s latest executive order. This has been a very difficult and challenging year on many levels. As the number of vaccinated North Carolinians increases and restrictions begin to be lifted, we need to continue to be cautious and do our part to keep each other safe. As part of the decision making process during the pandemic and after carefully reviewing the latest pandemic-related metrics we must move forward at Tricare Counseling & Consulting (TCC).
At this time, a decision has been made to follow the governor’s executive order and allow fully vaccinated administration staff, therapists and our clients to have access to TCC services without a mask beginning Wednesday June 16, 2021. We are reminding all unvaccinated individuals to continue to wear a mask while visiting and during provided services at TCC. In addition, we highly encourage everyone to continue to wear a mask as necessary and practice physical distancing as well as frequent handwashing.
While we are excited about this update, our primary focus and commitment at TCC has been and will be to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. The steps we have taken to maintain a safe environment will continue at both our offices:
• Robust cleanings• Exercise safety measures with clients
• Virtual session as needed
